Your First Multi-Window Layout

OpenNex is built around free layouts. Every window operation has a keyboard shortcut.

Split horizontal

Press ⌘ ⇧ D to split the current pane into top and bottom.

Split vertical

Press ⌘ ⇧ F to split the current pane into left and right.

Tabs

⌘ T creates a new tab, ⌘ 1-9 switches between tabs.

Floating windows

Hold ⌥ and drag any pane’s title bar to turn it into a floating window overlaid on the layout.
