Install OpenNex on your platform and complete first-time setup

Install & First Run

Download the installer for your platform from GitHub Releases.

Windows

1. Double-click OpenNex-Setup.exe
2. Follow the installer wizard
3. Launch OpenNex from the Start menu

macOS

1. Open the .dmg file
2. Drag OpenNex into Applications
3. On first launch, right-click and choose “Open” to bypass Gatekeeper

Linux

• AppImage: chmod +x OpenNex-*.AppImage && ./OpenNex-*.AppImage
• deb: sudo dpkg -i OpenNex-*.deb

First-time setup

After launch, pick a theme and your default shell to get started.
